Basalt

Basalt is a very hard black stone that is quarried in the northern part of Israel. The stone has an especially low crushing rate and high specific gravity, giving it unique properties and a relative advantage.

In the process of the water industry, basalt is used as a filtering agent as well as an agent in the desalination process.

The stone is carefully screened to obtain uniform material that is free of any debris.
