Sidanit

Zmitut 81 is one of the major producers of minerals in Israel. A special department in the plant is dedicated to producing a mineral whose quality is controlled under the commercial name of Sidanit. This mineral constitutes an essential ingredient in nutritional feeds for livestock. Calcium production is under the strict supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture, the Feed Unit.

Sidanit is processed from a hard limestone of a bright shade, found in the north of the country in Zmitut’s quarries. This material contains about 38% calcium (CA).

Sidanit is marketed in several granule sizes, under the names of Calcium, Sidanit, and Floury.

The material is available in different packaging: in small bags, in bulk, or piles, and according to customers' requirements.
