Carrara is a metamorphic white stone that is quarried in the Carrara region in Italy. It has been used for thousands of years for construction. In Roman times, this stone was already considered a prestigious stone, and was used to build buildings, and for statues, pillars and gates to external structures.
Over the years, with the development of the usage of marble, this stone has become the industry's most prestigious stone for flooring and countertops.
Currently, the stone is used in the field of marble and terrazzo paving as a mineral stone and is used to produce unique binding (cement) materials in the construction business.
